I just thought I’d introduce myself and my family and let you know the reason we decided to launch Suburban Closet :)
Hi, I’m Mel and I was working in a hospital as a Scientist for 20 years. I decided to give it up this year (2022), as my youngest child started Kindy, which meant my hours would significantly increase, this meant that I would spend less time with my kids and they would miss out on their fave things such as aerial and soccer. I have 4 beautiful children and a wonderful, supportive fiancé, Paul. My daughter Maddie and I both love shopping and fashion, so I decided to start my own online boutique selling womens clothes in styles we love.
The study in my home in Harrington Park, NSW, has been converted into a boutique (take a little peek below) and YESSS, we have Eftpos :) It is still a work in progress, but I am so happy with how it has turned out so far! I am currently taking appointments, so just flick me a message or email. You are more than welcome to come and have a browse or try on clothes on your own, with a group of friends or with your family, but I do like to make the appointments personal so I will not double book or take walk ins. My boutique space is very relaxed, there will be music playing softly in the background and I am happy to leave you to have a browse or if you would like help picking out an outfit, I can help with that too. There is NEVER any pressure to purchase anything! I want you to absolutely LOVE your outfit and get heaps of wear out of it, so if you ask my opinion, I will be 100% honest with you! I will also offer styling tips to make you feel more confident :) There is nothing worse than leaving a shop with something you felt pressured to purchase only to never wear it.
